Town of Cardston Council Meetings

Council and committee meetings are Representative Democracy in action. These meetings are open to the public and we encourage interested residents and citizens to come and observe their elected officials. If you would like to view a past meeting, Channel 32 (CFSOTV32) records all Council and CCW meetings. You can find those videos on the CFSOTV32 YouTube channel, or by clicking on the respective video link beside the corresponding meeting date below.

Notice of Meeting Times

Council Meetings

  • Regular Meeting of Council: 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each Month, 5:00 p.m. (MGA 193)
  • Organizational Meeting of Council: During regular meeting; held annually not later than 2 weeks after the 3rd Monday in October. (MGA 192)
  • Special Meetings of Council: When needed; At least 24hrs notice given prior to meeting. (MGA 194)
    Change of Meeting Times: At least 24hrs notice given prior to meeting. (MGA 193(3))

Agency, Boards and Committee Meetings (ABC's)

  • Council Committee Meeting of the Whole (CCW): 1st Tuesday of Each Month, 5:00 p.m. (MGA 195)
