STARS Recognizes Cardston for Years of Support

At the February 28th, 2023 Regular Meeting of Council, Glenda Farnden and Martin Ables, Municipal Liaisons for the Shock Trauma Air Rescue Service (STARS) provided Council with an annual update on STARS and Cardston area. STARS has recently completed a full upgrade of their fleet of air rescue vehicles with 10 new Airbus H145 helicopters. These $13 Million dollar state-of-the-art aircraft are fully equipped ambulances equipped with night vision technology so they can fly missions 24 hours a day. After their presentation, STARS presented Council with a plaque bearing the inscription, "Town of Cardston, Partnership Saves Lives. Thank you for your leadership and dedication to STARS."
