NOTICE: Upcoming Garbage Holiday

Garbage Holidays are statutory holidays where there is no regular Garbage Pickup and everyone's garbage is collected a day late after the holiday. Please see cardston.ca/garbage for the pickup schedule.

Garbage Holidays for 2023:

• April 14th - Good Friday (Easter Monday is NOT a Garbage Holiday)
• May 22 - Victoria Day
• July 1st - Canada Day
• August 7th- Heritage Day
• September 4th - Labour Day
• October 9th - Thanksgiving
• November 13th - Remembrance Day 
  
• December 25th - Christmas (Boxing Day is NOT a Garbage Holiday)

NOTE: Easter Monday and Boxing Day ARE NOT garbage holidays. Put your garbage out on your normal pickup day on those days.
