Notice: Higher Water Levels Expected in Lee Creek
Recent rainfall in the region is expected to result in increased water levels in Lee Creek over the coming days. Alberta Environment has issued a High Streamflow Advisory for the area.
While the forecasted rainfall has been reduced from earlier projections, runoff from weekend rains will still cause higher than normal creek flow. Residents are advised to:
- Use caution around Lee Creek, especially near the banks
- Keep children and pets away from the water
- Be aware that conditions may change quickly
The Town is monitoring conditions and will provide updates if needed. Please report any flooding or unsafe conditions in the Lee Creek Valley to the Town Office (653-3366), or the After Hours Emergency Number (653-5035).
