Their beautiful roses and proud hollyhocks were mercilessly hacked down by the hail—nature's own angry gardener taking a weed whacker to their flowerbed.

Yard of the Day – Heritage Days Hail Storm Edition!

Every year we celebrate community pride during Heritage Days by showcasing a beautiful yard each day. However... the weather leading up to Heritage Days hasn't exactly helped with landscaping.

So, we're doing things a little different this year. Every day throughout the week, we will be showcasing the yards that took the biggest hits from the hail, and try to have a laugh instead of a cry at our unfortunate circumstance. 

Do you have a sad looking tree? A tattered garden? A flattened flower patch? Shattered garden gnome?

If so, take a picture, and nominate yourself for the Heritage Days Hail Yard of the Day award. Winners will receive a gift card and be recognized for their beautifully destroyed outdoor spaces.
