Joanne received a $50 Cardston Bookstore gift certificate in recognition of her impressive... rock, surrounded by what we can only assume must have been a lush and vibrant display of flora and botanicals. One need only admire the single surviving purple blossom in her garden to envision what must have been stunning bed of flowers. Congratulation Joanne! 

Yard of the Day – Heritage Days Hail Storm Edition!

Every year we celebrate community pride during Heritage Days by showcasing a beautiful yard each day. However... the weather leading up to Heritage Days hasn't exactly helped with landscaping.

So, we're doing things a little different this year. Every day throughout the week, we will be showcasing the yards that took the biggest hits from the hail, and try to have a laugh instead of a cry at our unfortunate circumstance. 

Do you have a sad looking tree? A tattered garden? A flattened flower patch? Shattered garden gnome?

If so, take a picture, and nominate yourself for the Heritage Days Hail Yard of the Day award. Winners will receive a gift card and be recognized for their beautifully destroyed outdoor spaces.
