July 28 2025

UPDATE: Wednesday, July 30, 2025

The Burn Pile at the Transfer Station will be opened again today from 10:00AM until 3:30PM to accommodate the amount of debris left over from the hail Storm.

An attendant will be present again directing traffic and monitoring the burn piles until 3:30 p.m., at which time the Transfer Station will be closed for the day. The burn pile will be open again on Thursday during the Transfer Stations regular hours from 10:00AM - 6:00 PM, and again on Saturday from 9:00AM - 7:00PM.

THANK YOU

To all our residents who have been so considerate and helpful in clearing the streets in their neighborhoods. Our Peace Officer observed multiple people cleaning the leaves off the street and out of the gutters and it is greatly appreciated.

Monday, July 28th, 2025:

The recent hailstorm left a lot of natural debris—mostly leaves and small branches—scattered around town. To help residents with clean-up, the Town is temporarily opening the burn pile at the Transfer Station until 3:30 p.m. for storm-related green waste only.

An attendant will be present directing traffic and monitoring the burn piles until 3:30 p.m., at which time the Transfer Station will be closed for the day. The burn pile will be open again on Tuesday during the Transfer Stations regular hours (10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.).

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Do not place any leaves or debris from your yard onto the street. This includes using a leaf blower to blow leaves from your property or the sidewalk onto the road. Blowing leaves into the street leads to drainage issues when leaves block storm drains.

There is more rain expected in the forecast, so please keep the gutters and drains clear and do not put any leaves on the street.
