Election day is April 16th, but there are several ways to vote in the upcoming Alberta Election:

Special Ballots

If you are going to be away from Town for whatever reason (School, Work, Vacation, etc.) You may request a Special ballot. Special Ballots must be completed by April 8th (the day before the advanced poll date). You may request a special ballot online from the elections alberta website.

Advanced Polling

The week preceding the week of election day is advanced polling week. During that week you may vote at any advanced polling station in Alberta. If you are going to be away on election day, but you are going to still be in Alberta, you may vote at any of the advanced polling places listed here (https://www.elections.ab.ca/current-election-information/polling-places/).

  • Tue, April 9 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

  • Wed, April 10 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

  • Thu, April 11 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

  • Fri, April 12 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

  • Sat, April 13 (9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.)

*You may vote at any advanced polling station in Alberta.
