The Town is hiring for two full-time permanent positions in the Public Works Department. Fleet Mechanic

Position Summary:
To perform preventative and corrective maintenance and repairs to the Town’s fleet of automobiles, trucks, construction equipment, trailers, mowers, and other power driven and non-powered  equipment.

The Mechanic work hours are normally Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm and may be required to work nights, weekends and split shifts as needed and as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure Services. Responsibilities will vary depending on season and weather

General Labourer

Position Summary:
The General Laborer is responsible for maintenance and repair of the Town’s infrastructure including facilities, buildings, roads, walkways, and water and wastewater utilities, which involves the operation of vehicles, equipment and tools. The General Laborer will also provide the labor for the completion of Town projects and improvements.

The General Laborer work hours are normally Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm and may be required to work nights, weekends and split shifts as needed and as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure Services. Responsibilities will vary depending on season and weather.
