Bylaw Matters

We are now into March; you should have a 2010 license on your cat and/or dog. If you have not done so by now, it is recommended that you do so.

With spring around the corner we should remind you that skateboards, bicycles and other wheeled transporters (unless they are a designated handicap mobility device, under the Traffic Safety Act) are not permitted on the sidewalk in the town core (one block either side of Main Street). There is a $25.00 fine and/or seizure of the device when you are seen.

Did you know that your garbage containers will only be picked up if they are less than 50 pounds in weight?

Make sure you tie your cardboard in small bundles so they can be recycled.

Since spring is nearly upon us, consider saving water this year by mulching your grass clippings back into the ground rather then taking them to the transfer station.

Lloyd Stewart,

Community Peace Officer

Town of Cardston
