Is Your Number Up

Is Your Number Up

It is a life saving matter.

Having your house number up and visible from the road could save your life.

Emergency services in Cardston all agree that having your house number visible from the street could save minutes and lives in emergency situations.

The best way you can check to see if your number is prominent is to walk out your front door, go across the street and see if it is visible from that distance, taking into consideration any obstructions that may also impede quick visibility. Those who live in town with a long driveway should post their house number at the end of their driveway.

The best way to make your numbers prominent is to use contrasting colours between the numbers and the background, i.e. black numbers on a white background or visa-versa is best.
